At Selby Consult, we value our clients’ time and commitment, as well as the dedication of our team in preparing for each engagement. This cancellation policy ensures transparency, fairness, and helps us maintain the high quality of our services.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all consulting, training, technical support, project management, and any other professional services provided by Selby Consult.
2. Cancellation by Client
- Notice Requirement:
Clients must provide written notice (via email to support@selbyconsult.com or their designated project manager) to cancel or reschedule services. - Timeframes & Fees:
- More than 7 days before service start date: No cancellation fee. Any deposit paid will be fully refundable or applied to rescheduled service.
- 3 to 7 days before service start date: 25% of the agreed service fee will be charged to cover administrative and preparatory costs.
- Less than 3 days before service start date: 50% of the agreed service fee will be charged.
- Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of the agreed service fee will be charged.
3. Cancellation by Selby Consult
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., consultant illness, force majeure). In such cases:
- We will notify the client as soon as possible.
- Clients may choose to reschedule at no extra cost, or receive a full refund of any pre-paid fees.
4. Project Engagements
For longer-term or multi-phase projects:
- Cancellation during an active phase will result in billing for work completed up to the date of cancellation plus any non-recoverable project expenses.
- Deposits or milestone payments already made are non-refundable after commencement of that phase.
5. Refunds
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 business days of the confirmed cancellation.
- Refunds are issued via the same method used for the original payment unless otherwise agreed.
6. Exceptions
- Certain services may have specific cancellation terms (e.g., third-party costs for venues, platforms, or software licenses). These will be detailed in individual service agreements.
7. Changes to Policy
Selby Consult reserves the right to update this cancellation policy at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes affecting existing agreements.
